A Picture-Perfect Wedding Venue in Maryland
Walker’s Overlook has been with us the longest, with having held weddings since the Fall of 2012. At Walker’s Overlook, there is a colonial house on site that includes a spacious bridal suite upstairs along with a mancave downstairs. For your ceremony, the lawn is accompanied with an old walnut tree as a gorgeous backdrop which leads to an overlook of rolling hills and farmland just behind. After your “I Do’s”, we have a sweet spot on the back patio and inside of the house for your guests to enjoy refreshments and have a bite to eat before the reception commences. There is a tent with a hardwood floor provided on site for your reception to take place. This tent accommodates 275 guests at a time and has an extremely large space for dancing!
Our farm has several connections with local caterers that provide excellent food and service for your special day. You are more than welcome to bring a caterer and or vendor of your choice, but please know we will provide you with a complete vendor list to choose from to help make your wedding day personalized and unique.

Every penny we spent to have our reception here was absolutely worth it! Walker's Overlook is absolutely stunning. Everything from the trees lining the driveway, to the farmhouse, to the fields and gardens are beautiful and super well kept. We didn't talk to a single guest that hadn't fallen in love with the venue. The space is great. A kitchen, bride and groom suites, plenty of bathrooms, a high quality tent and the staff is incredible. They're super accommodating, flexible, helpful and all SO nice.
Holly was our assigned coordinator and she is a total dream. We were 2 years out from our wedding date and she kept in touch, staying on top of everything from the planning stages to day of. She was available for advice when we were faced with a difficult seating situation, what to do with transportation, decor placement. She even helped us look into signature drinks. The day of our wedding, I gave Holly everything going to our ceremony location, all of our signage, favors, and decor, went upstairs to get ready and never worried about anything again. She worked with the caterer, florist and DJ all day and I came down after I was dressed and was blown away by how fantastic everything looked. After all the effort you put into planning your wedding, knowing you can trust someone to help carry out your plan is everything. There is no way we could've pulled off this wedding without her. I could go on and on about Holly, really I could! But I think you get the point!
Our wedding day was more than we ever could've asked for and we are so grateful to Holly, Mark and the team at Walker's Overlook. We could never thank them enough! Without hesitation, we would recommend Walker's 100%!
We got married at Walkers Overlook last Sunday 9/4. We were so blessed to have found Walkers Overlook and to be able to have the biggest day of our lives at this beautiful venue. We first saw Walkers Overlook in March in the snow, and were still so blown away by the beauty of the venue. Mark is so sweet, accommodating, and will do anything for his couples. Our wedding coordinator was Shannon and she was so helpful and knowledgeable throughout all of our planning and on our wedding day. She is truly amazing at what she does. We both feel as though she will be a lifelong friend. All of our friends and family complimented the venue and we heard from multiple people that it was the best wedding and venue they have ever been to. Thank you Walker's Overlook!!
After getting engaged, Walkers Overlook was the first venue that my husband and I visited. We were going just for fun to get the whole wedding planning process started, but ended up absolutely falling in love with the place. We loved the all-in-one feel of Walkers Overlook. The convenience of being able to get ready in the main house was very important to us. The bridal suite has a large room and bathroom, and both have great lighting for makeup and hair. The "man cave" has arcade games to keep the guys entertained too. On top of convenience, the property is absolutely stunning. When you drive up the long driveway, you get such a great vibe from the farmhouse. Once you’re on the grounds, you get amazing views of all the surrounding fields. So many of our guests kept commenting about how beautiful it was there. They have a little swing down by the ceremony site that everyone had to get a picture on. The reception tent even has nice hardwood floors, not the parquet floors. You can just tell how much thought went in to all the details.
The other key thing you get with Walkers Overlook is VALUE. You get the venue for an entire 12 hours to set up and get ready beforehand. They have all tables and chairs, so you don't have to do any rentals for that. And then the fact that they provide a day of coordinator is such an added bonus. Our coordinator did a walk through with us about a month beforehand to make sure she knew about everything we wanted. She helped with the floor plan and timeline planning. She also kept track of all of our vendors and their arrival times to make sure they day ran smoothly. On the day of, she helped with some decorating and made sure everyone was ready and where they needed to be. I honestly can't think of one thing that we'd change. Walkers Overlook just checked all the boxes for us. If you want a venue with owners and staff that will treat you like family, not just another client, there is nowhere else to even consider.
